Opportunity Knocks

I'm flying to Washington D.C. tomorrow for a job interview! I've been talking with a friend who resides in the vicinity and who also happens to be a high school teacher with connections. He's convinced me to come out and interview for a position at some high school, so I'm obliging and gracing him with my company in the process. I'm very grateful to him for helping me out and being a good friend as well!

I'm going because I feel it could be an amazing opportunity, but I'm not making any decisions until I see how I feel about the situation. Oh and also the interview has to go well. Forgot that part of the deal. I do love D.C. very much, so if opportunity knocks, I have to decide if it's the right door to open. I'll of course let everyone know what happens in the choosing game. Wish me luck!

California Cruisin'

I came home on Tuesday after an amazing week in California with my family. It was awesome and much needed! The only downside is I didn't get paid time off for the vacation, so I'm out of a weeks pay. Don't worry, if I need money I'll just panhandle. Anyway, we stayed at the Marriott Villas Resort in Newport Beach. I highly recommend them! We were able to rent our condo for $1600 for the whole week! You could comfortably fit eight people in one, which means I want to take a group of friends and rent one. Think of it! $200 a person for a week in California! Super cheap! It would be amazing. The resort has three pools and two hot tubs, which were very nice! It's basically on the beach and close to Disneyland. I loved it!

There are so many hot guys in California! I was going crazy! One fun thing about having an iPhone is the application called Grindr. It lets you see guys with iPhones and the app that are close to you and you can chat with them. Needless to say my Grindr was going to make my phone explode and my battery died several times over the course of the vacation. It drains your battery! Anyway it's always fun to use it because you can ask all the guys where the good restaurants and bars are located. It's very amusing.

I'll post pictures of the trip as soon as I load them to my computer. Promise. I know you want to see them so be patient.

Vegas Baby!

A couple of weekends ago I went to Vegas with some friends to get away and have a blast. Boy did we ever! Let's just say that I have yet to travel to a large city in the country without getting so wasted I don't black out. So I'm setting a goal for myself that whenever I travel I won't black out because it would be nice to remember all of a trip for once. Unfortunately, I didn't win any money, but I didn't lose much either and I almost bought a $350.00 D&G shirt but resisted with the help of a friend. It would have fit perfectly though! Maybe I'll go back...Anyway, I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few from the trip. I want to go back as soon as possible!

Long Overdue

I apologize for taking so long to post anything! Hopefully this post will make up for my slacker ways.

So I went to Texas with Sexy and his coworker last week since they were both down there for business and were going to get a day off. Our plan was to go to Six Flags on their day off, but alas it was closed in preparations for the holidays, so we spent the day eating lunch at the Stock Yards in Fort Worth followed by a lovely shopping adventure in the Galleria of Dallas.

The Stock Yards are a unique historic section of Fort Worth where they've transformed the holding pens of the animals into little shops and restaurants. The streets are cobblestone, which I love, and there were perfomers riding around on horses cracking their whips. One horse would even smile for a picture, but the guy cracked the whip so much and hard, we didn't dare get close for a shot for fear of being decapitated. We wanted to see some event that was happening, but didn't want to wait. I think it was a cattle run. Anyway, when we were done at the Stock Yards we drove to a great mall in Dallas.

The mall in Dallas was full of hotties and amazing stores. I bought a shirt from Zara and one from Armani Exchange and had to contain myself so I wouldn't spend hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars (that I don't have) on amazing clothes. I love shopping, but I try not to do it too much.

For the rest of the vacation I just relaxed in the hotel. It was so nice not to do anything for awhile! I did hate leaving the 70 degree weather and returning to 40 degree weather though, but oh well. What can you do?
